JALA Indonesia, short for Indonesia Elderly Network, is an independent elderly stakeholders organization in Indonesia. It was formed by 21 network initiators on 15 February 2013 in Yogyakarta. This network formation is a follow up of recommendation born out from “Population Aging and Development: Documentation, Challenge and Further Action” workshop which was held on 19-20 November 2013 in Yogyakarta. This network is Therefore the network is dedicated to become coordination and information hub of elderly issues, discourse and activities for institutions, observers, practitioners and researchers on elderly.
